Questions Responses:
1. What led to World War I and World War II?  According to what I've read online, the
assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand
of Austria-Hungary sparked World War I,
and Hitler's invasion of Poland in September
1939 prompted Great Britain and France to
declare war on Germany, which sparked
World War II.
2. How were the two wars resolved?  According to what I've read, the German
army's commanders requested that the
conflict be set on end by the German
government. On November 9, 1918, Kaiser
Wilhelm, the leader of Germany, resigned
from office when the government requested
an armistice from the US, which would put
an end to the war. Germany signed the
Armistice two days later, and the war
ceased. When Japan completely
surrendered on August 14, 1945, and
signed the declaration on September 2, the
Second World War came to an end. After
the United States launched atomic bombs
on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the Japanese
agreed to surrender.
3. How can nations of the world strengthen their  I believe that in order to prevent world war,
ties in order to avert another world war? we must have arms control and diplomacy
in every nation. In addition, we must
address all of each nation's problems and
conflicts in order to find a more peaceful
solution and avoid war in those nations. In a
democracy, the free press is required to
report on these justifications with constant
attention.
