Activity Title: ESSAY ABOUT EFFECTIVE CONFLICT RESOLUTION AND TEAM WORK SKILLS

Date: March 03, 2022

Name: Diane S. Alvarez Gr. / Section: 12-ABM-JONES

Every day, problems arise between families, employees, and ethnic groups. In our society,
dealing with conflict and being able to resolve it is important. While some conflicts can be
prevented, more conflicts are likely to develop when working in a group. A team leader's
ability to successfully handle conflicts within a team might be challenging. The first qualities a
team leader must have are an understanding of the necessity of conflict resolution within a
team and the ability to deal with problems.

I've learned that conflict resolution is critical in a team setting since it maintains motivation,
morale, and, most importantly, teamwork. If your team is not driven or proactive, it may
reflect poorly on your company. Team conflict can lead to stress and a lack of work ethics. It is
important to resolve every conflict in a constructive manner when working in a team
workplace. This will help to establish the team's credibility and trustworthiness. It may be
difficult for a team to succeed if it loses its credibility, confidence, and motivation.

There is no clear-cut formula for resolving conflicts, in my opinion, and it is up to team

members to figure out the best approach to do so. The methods may aid in the process, but it
is the first step of realizing that there is conflict inside the group that will allow the group to
perform as intended and achieve its goals.

Activity Title: ESSAY ABOUT CONFIDENTIALITY IN THE WORKPLACE

Date: March 03, 2022

Name: Diane S. Alvarez Gr. / Section: 12-ABM-JONES

I've learned that workplace confidentiality is important. Confidentiality refers to the act of
keeping information private or not sharing it. As a result, confidential information is an
information that should be kept secret or in other terms confidentiality is simply keeping
information private.

Employee, managerial, organizational, customer and professional information are the 5 types

of confidential information.
Employee Information, thhis is the information you'll know about specific employees at your
company. Some of this info will be unconfirmed gossip, while others will be will be information
that you will come upon while working. You may come across private information, such as a
person's name, address or cellphone number, which you should not share to others.
Discussions concerning employee relations concerns, disciplinary actions, imminent
layoffs/reductions-in-force, terminations, workplace investigations of employee
misconduct, and so on are examples of managerial information.
Organizational information, commonly known as business information or "trade secrets,"
refers to anything not in the public domain that aids a company 's ability to do its tasks
more effectively. Information regarding industrial processes, budgets, expenditures,
forecasts, and even customer contact information would all be included.
Customer information, which is partly covered by "trade secrets." This refers to any
information provided to the Company by or on behalf of the Customer during the Term
(whether in writing, orally, or otherwise) that was current at the time of disclosure.
However, revisions to European data protection rules relating to any data assistance on a
citizen of a European Union country necessitate a different approach. If you think that this
may harm you or your business, you should obtain legal advice.
Professional information is likely to include professionals such as doctors, lawyers,
accountants, and others. Through their work, these experts come into.sootast with
information about individuals or organizations.

I've also noticed a difference between informal and legal confidentiality. There are some
things you may be told and asked to keep secret, but the only thing you bave to do is
keep it personal. For example, if you have a friend who has a strict parent and she told
you she has a boyfriend, she explained that she hasn't told anyone yet because she trusts
you to cover for her whenever she's dating her boyfriend. There is no absolute or legal
necessity that you keep the information to yourself. However, keep in mind that you will
have betrayed her trust if you do so. Expect her to be upset, and your reputation as
someone who can be trusted and relied on will be ruined, and not just because of her.

There are also some types of information that are legally prohibited from being shared
with other organizations or individuals except under very restricted circumstances, such
as a customer's personal information, which cannot be revealed without their consent. If
you disclose confidential information about your employer with any of the company's
competitors, or if you disclose it in a way that could harm the stock price, you could be
sued.
There are ways to ensure that your data is adequately protected. This should include, for
example, ensuring that confidential information is kept in a safety box that is locked away
every night and not left unattended during the day. password-protecting confidential
computer files, clearly marking all confidential information, and shredding all paper copies
before throwing them away, and, most importantly, ensuring that confidential information
is only disclosed to those who need to know.
As I have said, confidentiality is usually an essential tool for a productive and efficient
workplace. Protecting sensitive information is a corporate necessity, as well as an ethical
and legal responsibility in certain circumstances. Following these processes will prevent
the employers and the organization from legal consequences while also providing a safe
working environment for the employees. Individually, information security has a
substantial impact on privacy, which is viewed in a variety of ways across cultures. As a
result, the methods must be assessed and revised on a yearly basis. Parties that do
business with a corporation require some assurance that their information and data will
be protected. Furthermore, a business must secure its own business strategies, future
business plans, and sensitive data.

Activity Title: ESSAY ABOUT SAFETY IN THE WORKPLACE

Date: March 03, 2022

Name: Diane S. Alvarez Gr. / Section: 12-ABM-JONES

As you may be aware, there are numerous problems or issues at work. However, one of the
most prominent concerns is safety. The aspect of not causing injury, danger, or loss is known
as safety. Today, one of the most common "talk abouts" in many firms is workplace safety.
Safety is one of the key expectations that you want while at work, regardless of what career
you choose.

Workplace safety, I've learned, is a concept that entails creating a safe working environment.
It is the responsibility of management to guarantee that workplace safety is enforced. Every
day, numerous accidents occur as a result of failure to follow proper safety instructions.
Wearing the right eye protection or the right shoes, for example, can make you a safer and
more productive employee. There are many more critical safety measures in addition to these
two: ensuring that the manner work is done is safe and does not harm employees' health,
ensuring that machinery and equipment are safe and kept that way, and ensuring that people
are properly taught. Knowing the safety requirements guarantees that a person feels
comfortable while working with total determination and confidence. It simply provides a safe
choice for those who are interested.
Besides, no matter what profession we are in, we must always remember that workplace
safety is important.

Activity Title: ESSAY WORKPLACE ETHICS AND PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT

Date: March 03, 2022

Name: Diane S. Alvarez Gr. / Section: 12-ABM-JONES

While reading the lesson on Workplace Ethics and Professional Conduct, I learned that
workplace ethics is the code of ethics that guides employee behavior about what is right and
wrong in terms of leadership and decision making. I also learned that workplace ethics are
principles and practices that, if followed, ensure that an organization's reputation and its
employees are exceptional. The term "ethical" is now widely understood to mean "honest,
fair, and trustworthy behaviour". The purpose of work ethics is to ensure that all employees
and the organization itself adhere to the highest standards of behavior and professionalism.
There are many examples of ethics, especially in the workplace, such as adherence to
company standards, clear communication, accountability, accountability, professionalism,
trust and respect each other towards your colleagues. These examples of ethical behavior help
you get the most out of your workday. There is also a code of conduct, which is the most
general policy of an organization. This policy outlines the Company's ethical and moral beliefs,
standards and expectations for employees and third parties when interacting with the
Company. Political activism, protection of company assets, protection of proprietary
information, and gifts are four examples of elements of the code of conduct. Since this lesson,
I have realized that it is important to understand ethical behavior in the workplace, as it can
lead to positive employee behaviors that contribute to the growth of the organization, as well
as unethical practices that can create damaging headlines that lead to the extinction of the
business.

Activity Title: ESSAY ABOUT RIGHTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES IN THE WORKPLACE

Date: March 03, 2022

Name: Diane S. Alvarez Gr. / Section: 12-ABM-JONES

The lesson on workplace rights and responsibilities made me realize that each employee or
worker has their own set of rights and responsibilities. In this lesson, I also learned that every
employer has responsibilities to their employees, including: making a contract with the
employee, agreeing on conditions, time, and place, following up with the employee on the
agreed terms, agreeing on payment terms, and safeguarding standards, staff, and the
environment, among other things.
Aside from the employer's obligations, the employee has responsibilities as well, such as
following your boss's instructions within the scope and parameters of your employment
agreements, adhering to the rules at work, and taking good care of tools given to you and
returning them when the work is completed. and a lot more
It is important, in my opinion, that every employee understands his or her workplace rights
and obligations. There are numerous regulations that safeguard employees' safety, well-being,
and rights at work, and it is critical that employees are aware of their rights and obligations.
