instagram.com/mytrendylifestyle

The Elephant House is one of the most important places for Potterheads or Harry Potter fans.
You won't find this cafe in movies or books, but this is where the wizarding world of Harry
Potter was first created. The Elephant House is the name of a cafe in Edinburgh where J.K
Rowling first got the idea and wrote the story about Harry Potter for his first book "Harry
Potter and the Philosopher's Stone". And because of its location in the center of Edinburgh,
you will have no trouble finding this cafe.

2. Diagon Alley, Leadenhall Market

ins Diagon Alley turns out not only in books or

movies, but also in the real world. Not far from The Elephant House, you will find a closed
market called Leadenhall Market which later became the shooting location for Diagon Alley.
It was in this market that Harry Potter first went shopping to buy all the magical items he
needed before entering school. The good news is that Leadenhall Market is open to the
public, including Muggles like us.
You won't find an Olivander wand shop, but at least you can still walk around and shop for
various items at Leadenhall Market.

3. Platform 9 ¾ King's Cross Station, London

Platform 9 at King's Cross station is an important venue

for Harry Potter and Hogwarts students. This is because platform 9 at King's Cross station is
the door to enter the wizarding world and board the Hogwarts train.
Of course, platform 9 doesn't really exist but the station has placed a replica of the luggage
between platforms 9 and 10 for Muggles who want to take photos.

4. Hogwarts Express, Skotlandia

If you're a Harry Potter fan, you

shouldn't miss the opportunity to take the Hogwarts Express train and cross The Glenfinnan
Viaduct, a curved bridge that always appears in Harry Potter films.
In the real world, the Hogwarts Express is a steam train called The Jacobite Steam Train. You
can board this train for a ticket of £35 for adults and £59 for a first class seat. Not only that,
you can even order special Harry Potter-style compartments.

5. Hogwarts, Alnwick Castle dan Oxford University

Hogwarts never really existed in the real

world. It's therefore not surprising that the crew ended up having to shoot in several places to
get the perfect shot of Hogwarts castle.
One of them is Alnwick Castle where Harry gets his first broomstick lessons. While the large
dining hall is one of the rooms at Christ Church College, Oxford University.
