As per extant instructions, Railway has to reimburse certain amount of payment to State Government in respect of ROBs being constructed on cost sharing basis. It has come to the notice of this office that certain Dy. CE/Cs are getting the approval of respective CE/Cs in their file and are making the payment to the State Government. This practice is wrong and should be stopped forthwith. All cases of reimbursement should be submitted to Dy. CE/C/P&D who will take the approval of competent authority and advise respective Dy. CE/C regarding how much payment is to be made. Dy.
