Being Filipino should make us proud, and we should take ownership of our nation. Taking care of this
blessing that is our nation is both our opportunity and our duty. Make every effort to improve it for
Filipinos in the future.

I put Dr. Jose Rizal in the center of my illustration because he is the main reason why we achieved our
liberty, why we can call ourselves and nation independent. We owe it all to him and we owe everything
to the youth to continue this honor. We Filipinos have demonstrated that we are not only resilient,
adaptable, and courageous in the face of extremely terrible circumstances, but also incredibly
compassionate, eager to serve others without hesitation, and always willing to do so. I'm happy to be
Filipino because of this. I am pleased to be a Filipino because of our amazing culture, rich history, and
positive outlook on life, which allows us to maintain a smile on our faces in the midst of the disasters we
are currently experiencing.
