Security Guard

1. Make a regular round of all hotel corridors and area.


2. Observe any suspicious or abnormal activities on the part of guests
3. Be alert to undesirable persons such as pimps, prostitutes, drunks, etc. and to evict them from
the premises.
4. Assists the Duty Manager in inspecting the rooms of doubtful clients and assisting with
suspected skippers.
5. Maintain a close watch for any fire or safety hazards.
6. Provide escort where required for cashiers, etc.
7. Assist guests in decoding in – room safes.
8. Handle lost and found items.

11. Patrols – Check the doors and stairwells to make sure the locks are secure and
no danger is lurking.
12. Guards must patrol outdoors as well as room hallways and activity areas, such
as the pool and spa. Large properties may employ a number of guards to keep
up patrols and maintain communication through radios.
