career options available to students passing out of school are limited. Students need career guidance to
explore and plan for future career endeavors based on their individual interests, skills and values.
Participation in career guidance enhances linkage of academic and career experiences and thus,
improves career preparation and management. Improving outcomes and achievements are central to
the overall goal of career education. The structure instills students with the knowledge and skills they
need to obtain a meaningful career. Career education makes rewarding work possible, regardless of the
student's interests, aptitudes, or abilities.
