Meeting Minutes

Project: Swimming Pool at BAF Base Birsreshto Matiur Rahman Jashore.

Persons were Present:

1 Engr. Asif, Design Development & Management

2. Mohmmed Masud Pervez, GM, Maisha Construction Pvt. Ltd.

3. Saiful Islam, PM, Maisha Construction Pvt. Ltd.

Issues Discussed:
1. Pile Static Load Test: Engr Asif, DDM told us “It is already finalized that there will be no Load
test due to small size of precast pile’’. In CA it is cast in situ pile but we did Pre-Cast Pile.
2. Pile integrity Test: We have to performed Pile integrity test.
3. Water Stopper: It would be better to use chemical to avoid water leakage at construction joint,
but as per CA We have to use water stopper at casting joint.
4. Depth of Kid’s Pool: Depth of Kid’s poor will be 750mm instead of 600mm (Shown in design).
5. Over Flow Drain: There is no over flow drain found in design for Kid’s pool, but now it will be
connected with main pool over flow drain.
6. Soft copy of Kid’s pool: It is needed for Kid’s pool shuttering work, DDM will provide us soft copy
ASAP.
7. Column Footing: Engr. Asif, DDM told us it will as per structural design but need develop the
adjacent area by sand filling and compaction.
8. Level and Location of Machine room: Machine Room is just top of the balance tank; it would be
better for maintenance if it is in different location. But Engr. Asif, DDM told us it will be as per
design.
9. Balance Tank: There will be SS ladder, Manhole, Ventilation pile for Balance tank, DDM will
provide details drawing.
10. Sump Pit for Kid’s Pool: There will be no sumpit for Kids pool, but one connection will be there
between kid’s pool and Main pool. DDM will provide details.
11. Water proofing Chemical: To avoid chlorine action on RCC surface need to use chemical at RCC
surface.
12. Chemical Dosing: We found automatic chemical dosing in design but it would better if we
manage it manually, DDM will provide details.
13. Skimmer: We found six skimmers in pool, DDM told us it will be as per design.
14. Filter: There is thee pumps (7.5 HP), 36’’ dia filter and 2’’ filter head in design, we requesting to
recheck the filter system design. DDM will provide details ASAP. We need details designs and
specification with in two working days, otherwise it will be delayed the handover schedule.
