 35 regional meetings nationwide each spring
 25+ scholarships and prizes awarded annually (doctoral and graduate student scholarships, undergraduate scholarship,
paper prizes, book awards, best chapter awards, student history journal awards)

 Membership qualifications (Undergraduate)


At least 3.0 minimum overall GPA and 3.1 minimum GPA with 12 or more credit hours in history
For Graduate students, at least a 3.5 GPA and approximately 30% of the residence requirements for their Master’s degree
Faculty members above the rank of Instructor who teach History automatically qualify for membership
Membership not limited to History majors
Credit hours of online, transfer, or AP credits may be applied to the membership eligibility requirement.
