In the previous discussion, I learned that ethics is the moral code that governs how a person

should act. There are three schools of ethics: ethical relativism, ethical pragmatism, and ethical
utilitarianism.

Ethical Relativism is a school of ethics that holds that morality is relative to cultural standards.
Ethical Pragmatism is a philosophical approach or movement that emerged in the 1870s. It is
more of a philosophy of knowledge, truth, and meaning than of morality. Ethical Utilitarianism
is a school of ethics that holds that the rightness or wrongness of actions is determined by their
consequences.

I have also learned about Professional Ethics, which is concerned with the ethically acceptable
behavior of individuals in the workplace. Professionalism in the workplace is necessary to
maintain a healthy and productive work environment.
