Assignment 4

1- We selected our project plan without giving much thought about the procedure and protocols of
arranging such events. When the time passed we realized that we needed thorough planning in
advance.
2- We created teams which had overlapping domains. It created confusion for the managers while
performing their duties.
3- Another loophole that we faced was that as the time passed, the motivation level of team
dropped drastically. As soon as difficulties started to arise in the project, the motivation levels
dropped.
4- The burdens on the teams were not evenly distributed, some teams had no work to do,
meanwhile another team had too much tasks to perform.
5- Another loophole that we saw was that when we were deciding our event, we ignored that in
Pakistan it is very hard to contact industry representatives and bring them to university.
6- Another shortcoming we observed was that we had invited all the major multinational
companies to our seminar, but none gave any response to our invitations. It was because we
being just a student society were not influential enough to convince them. We needed official
letters from senior faculty members in order to convince the industries to join our seminar.
7- A major loophole we observed was that there was not enough coherence between the teams.
All the teams were working with a separate vision. There were a lot of disagreements between
teams over certain decisions.
