Subject: Kick-off meeting: Detailed Engineering Design Phase

Dear Sir,

1. With reference to the Detailed Engineering Design meeting held at our office on
Monday, 27 March 2018, we herewith submit the following in respect of aforesaid
meeting;
(i) BALE DED kick-off meeting presentation;
(ii) Indokoei presentation
(iii) Drawing/Document Management Register; and
(iv) Review and comments Document.

2. Further to the above, please provide us with the following;

(i) Field Works:
(a) Topographic survey
(b) Setting out and levelling
(c) Cross section
(d) Detailed report

(ii) Office Engineering Works:

(a) Conceptual design
(b) Design criteria utilized
(c) Design seismic coefficient utilized
 (d) Flood design discharge
(e) Hydrology analysis
(f) Mechanical design and calculations
(g) Electrical and Instrumentation detailed design and calculation
(h) Construction methodology of works including a risk analysis with first
priority given to:
- Diversion works
- Waterway in respect of siphon/embankment or diversion option
(i) Environment, Safety and Health (ESH) documentation
(j) Quality (QA/QC) documentation
(k) Detailed Engineering Design Phase Organogram

Kindly provide an action and mitigation plan with proposed submission dates of all the
above by no later than, close of business, 29 March 2018.

3. Moving forward, please utilize the attached Drawing and Document Management
Register for submission of all design drawings and documentation. When responding to
comments from BALE team in respect of your design drawings and/or documents,
kindly utilize the Engineering Review and Comment document.
