1. What are the underlying theories/concepts you can notice in the video?

 Since the trailer is not particularly thorough and presented, the main theories/concepts I noticed in
the video are just one. So, as far as I can tell, a fan girl will go to any length to go near to, touch,
and stare at her idol up close. You can devote your entire life to your idol. Some people or let I say,
‘girls’ are so strong to be so bold and passionate about their feelings and admiration.

2. In the concept of semiotics and critical theories related to popular culture, answer the following:
o What do you think is the genre of the trailer?

 The trailer's genre, in my view, is drama and romance.

o What are the signs embedded in the trailer that you can relate to the popular culture in the Philippines?

 Being a fan girl is fine, but infatuation is detrimental, since some individuals these days are so
captivated with a person that they overlook their poor qualities or harmful side effects.

o What do you think are the director's elements added, deleted, or substituted in the film in contrast to real-
life situations?

 The director's aspects in the picture that contrast with the real-life circumstances are that it
provides such a startling plot that the plotline is never revealed in the trailer. Several issues are
addressed in the film. This film may also depict what might happen when a fan meets a celebrity.
Just seeing this film exposed me to actual social issues in our society and around the world. The
directors and writers of this film are incredible in their ability to create a film that allows viewers to
relate to reality.
