III. Symbolic drawing about yourself: draw a symbol that represent yourself and the
wholeness of your experiences. Draw them on a sheet of bond paper and use colors to
signify the relevance of the symbol. (20 points)

I chose to draw eye or eyes as a symbol that represents me as a person and my

experiences because I believe that the eyes are the gateway into the soul. I firmly believe
that one could only understand the depth of a person if he/she looks beyond the naked
eye, and that is a usual thing for me because as an introvert person that I am, I have a
habit of observing people and my surroundings. I am the kind of person who loves and
appreciates nature, art, and the beauty of life so much that physical blindness, I think, will
be my greatest downfall.
IV. In your house, kindly look for something that can be considered as an artwork
either/both by an artist and/ or artisan.

V. What are your reactions and commentaries regarding your chosen artwork and why
do you say so?
Amigurumi is the Japanese art of knitting or crocheting small, stuffed yarn creatures.
Crochet is one of the crafting trends right now that are enjoyed by many, whether they
are young or old, an expert crocheter or a beginner. Crochet is an art and craft because
just like any other art forms, it uses different flexible techniques, styles, patterns, and
colors to create a variety of products, such as clothes, hats, bags, mats, stuffed toys,
keychains and many more.
