As a BSW intern, I facilitate group therapy with adult and adolescent clients in SACOT
(Substance Abuse Comprehensive Outpatient Therapy) and SAIOP (Substance Abuse
Intensive Outpatient Program) outpatient therapy programs. I conduct intakes and
assessments as well as case management duties that link and coordinate services for
clients. I also perform PCP’s (Person-Centered-Plans) for clients through intakes and
assessments to determine treatment options that will set goals for clients’ recovery.
