ABSENCE FROM WORK WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION

This Letter is served as :


• Since (Date), you have failed to turn up for work;
• You have not responded to our showcause letter sent to you on (date), you also did
not return message to us via mobile phone number available to us, and neither did
you answer all our calls made to you during your absence until the date of writing of
this letter;

As per Section 15(2) of Employment Act 1955, it is stated that “An employee shall be deemed to
have broken his contract of service with the employer if he has been continuously absent from
work for more than two consecutive working days without prior leave from his employer, unless
he has a reasonable excuse for such absence and has informed or attempted to inform his
employer of such excuse prior to or at the earliest opportunity during such absence”.

Upon receipt of this letter via registered mail, kindly make all effort to contact the Company
within 2 working days, failing which the Company will not hesitate to take action on your
abscondment without notice. We wish to remind you that you are obliged to provide one (1)
month’s notice or payment in lieu of notice for termination of your service as per our Handbook.

In addition, we would like to remind you that although you wish to leave the Company, you will
have continued obligations under the Clauses of xxx in your signed Offer Letter which state that
you have agreed and acknowledged to keep complete secrecy all confidential information
gained during your course of work with us. The Company will not hesitate to take legal action
should the need arises.
