LESSON 2: APPLICATION

This is my greetings with Gratitude and Admiration to Jose Rizal and other Heroes that fight for our
freedom!

First of all, I'd like to thank you for fighting for our country with your literary creation filled with
gritty honestly and warm integrity. You have been an inspiration not just me but also to all the young
Filipino people. Your struggle for this country's independence from the Spaniard's inconsiderate
treatment has not only created a revolution that allowed others to fight back, but also aided in the
development of today's state of youth.

Rizal once dedicated one of his poems to Filipino youth, not just the youth of his time or the next
generation, but all Filipino youth past, present and future. Rizal wants to remind our young and
future leaders that they are the future of the country.
