According to what I’ve learned from the previous discussion, personality and
ability differences are the two basic categories of individual differences. In addition to
, this topic is particularly helpful because controlling organizational behavior when
working in teams during assignments or at work in the future requires an
understanding of the nature, causes and effects of individual variations. Because each
individual is so unique from the other, we need to understand why people behave in
the manner that they do. People have various personalities, whether they are schooling
or at workplace, and their feelings , thoughts and behaviors will vary from one
another.
Even though we can already manage the behavior in the organization better by
understanding. This will also reflect how people act and think when given a task to
do. For instance, in the group tasks that have been assigned to us, some people will
constantly want to be in charge of everything because they have a high need for
power, but some people will always strive hard to meet their expectations because
they have a high need for achievement.
As for me, I believe that I have a strong desire to success. I constantly strive to
get the most of everything I do and accept full responsibility for the results. I am able
to comprehend why people act in certain ways and come up with strategies to interact
with them in order to prevent misunderstandings especially while working in group
tasks and when around co workers and subordinates at the workplace.
Of course, we must also consider people’s strengths , aptitudes and skills when
examining individual differences and how these impact attitudes and behavior.
