In my own insights , power and politics are two important things in an

organization, for I know it is not the knowledge or skill you possess, it is about
who you know.
Every organization has politics.Power and politics play an important
role in an organization that increased employees performance. Politics is
always about power,which is defined as controlling current energy or
resources to achieve specific aims and objectives.
In an organization, the impact of power is resolute by whether
employees utilize positive or negative power.When it comes to accomplishing
organizational goals and objectives, the use of power and politics should be
balanced which directly affects the performance of employees.
Now , I understand why some of the School Head prefer to give extra
loads to teachers maybe they assume that a certain teacher can do task
confidently that will result to a satisfactory performance of the school.
Greatly , power is essential for employees for the reason that it enables
workers to remain engaged and framed on their job, which ultimately leads to
rise in productivity and competence of the organization which is the
organization’s core objective.
Despite of the extra loads given to a teacher , I think in my case ,
whom I have so many extra loads and responsibility to performed in school , I
feel happy with my task because I look this extra loads as a challenge for me
to be more dedicated to my duties as well as it helps me developed my
capability in doing such thing beyond my expectation that I can do. Even
though sometimes I can feel exhausted and occupied specially if there are
activities are bumping each other but still I try my best to manage all this
things.
In my perspective , I don’t think so , that the School Head uses his/her
power to place me in that situation instead he/she gave that responsibility to
me because she/he knows that I’m capable to handle things.
Employee and team behavioral inclinations and power and politics are
necessities for organizational productivity. Employees utilize power to achieve
whatever they want or to meet their requirements. Teams and organizations
utilize power and politics to sustain and preserve them by controlling their
workers.
Since power and politics are human characteristics it is therefore the
qualities of some of our superior and school leaders who sometimes defend
their decision making based on what their goals and objectives. Which I know
their goals is for the betterment of the teachers and the institution. But
sometimes or most of the time, others look these perspective as a negative
one because if they have given tasks to do they think that the School Head
uses his/her power to instruct and give command to teachers even without
consultation has been made.
On the other hand , it is commonly happen in an institution who has a
large number of employees in which most of the employees were trying their
best to fulfill their tasks but their action and performance is not suitable or
qualified for what they re aiming for.
It is hard to avoid power in organizations, largely because in an
organization comprises employees coming along with numerous and
complicated objectives where professional and personal objective fulfillment is
supported through organizational interactions with people.
