o Expand the paediatric pulmonology service at Kenyatta National Hospital, Kenya’s leading public
tertiary and

teaching hospital in Nairobi by: i) improving chronic respiratory disease care (bronchopulmonary
dysplasia,

sickle cell respiratory disease, and bronchiectasis); ii) advancing point of care lung ultrasound, lung
function

testing and flexible bronchoscopy; and iii) building training & research collaborations.

o Become an independent researcher and leader in paediatric respiratory health in Africa.
