KEY SUMMARY

Education is the only hope to lift ourselves and be empowered,


as such we in Alfredo A. Aledia Elementary School serve to be the
light in times of darkness. We never stop, we continue to implement
the mandates of the Department of Education for learning
continuity amidst this pandemic.

Dreaming to be enlighted in this darkest time we continue to


advocate time consciousness and honesty. Alfredo A. Aledia
Elementary School teachers play a significant role in modeling and
teaching children of the importance of punctuality and honestly. As
such help me witness our Best practices in advocating time
consciousness and honesty in the new normal set-up...

Criteria 1: Awareness of Advocacy together with Community


Partner
The effectivity of promoting awareness of PROJECT WATCH to
the community relies heavily in the good partnership of the school,
parents, pupils and stakeholders in the community. As what others
say, “Partnership can encompass many different forms of
collaboration.”
To strengthen the advocacy of Project Watch, the school
conducted the following activities
A. Guesting in the “ I Luv Lasang” ,the official Live Broadcast
of the Office of the Barangay Council of Brgy. Lasang,
Davao City.

B. Parent’s Orientation and Launching on Awareness of Project


W.A.T.C.H during PTA meetings,
In new normal set up due to pandemic, it is done through
virtual and online
to ensure the safety of public.
C. Installation of the following information media for
awareness and reminders for the commitment on the
consciousness of honesty and punctuality and for the
updates and information dissemination about incoming
W.A.T.C.H activities.
1. Signages posted in every Purok in the locality
2. W.A.T.C..H Corner in every classroom
3. School Bulletin Board

D. The school organized a campaign that was being


participated by people from here and abroad. It was created
to make the said campaign more catchy and interesting that
might leave a mark in every heart and mind of the
stakeholders.

G. Memorandum of Agreement signing between the Office of


the Barangay Council and Alfredo A, Aledia Elementary
School as support in the plans and projects of the sxhool in
the implementation of Project W.A.T.C.H

Criteria 2: Training Orientation in the New Normal Set-up


(Teachers, PTA, Students and Others)

Even there is a massive shift on how we deliver education to


our pupils. Alfredo A. Aledia strive to find ways and means to
implement WATCH programs and projects. As part of the
implementation of the said programs and projects. The school
conducted series of orientations and trainings which were
spearheaded by the school coordinator ,Mrs. Cristy Faith B. ALtizo,
and with the school principal, Mrs.Lubel A. Bañaria.
The following are the orientation and training conducted:
A. Online LAC Session in preparation for the activities and
involvement of parents, pupils and teachers in line with the
WATCH program and projects amidst the pandemic.

B. The training orientation of Watch Club Officers to inform


the officers about the WATCH Club activities and to
enhance their awareness regarding time consciousness and
honesty.

C. The training of the newly formed TASK FORCE ALEDIA


which was created by the school, with the partnership of
the Barangay Council and 16 volunteer parents from
different purok. They were rained on the manners on how to
distribute and retrieve modules while observing safety
protocols.

Criteria 3: W.A.T.C.H. Club Activities


Advocacy for the time consciousness and honesty is a
significant campaign for core development of individuals. Alfredo
A. Aledia aims to further inculcate this values to our clients by
conducting the following activities: integrate them in the
curriculum.
A. BICYCLE MODULE LINER
The school aimed to have timely distribution and retrieval of
the modules. Waiting for the parents to claim and submit the
modules might cause some delay and hassle to the part of the
parents. Through this advocacy, TASK FORCE ALEDIANS is
formed. This group is composed of volunteers from different
puroks of Bucana,Lasang,Davao City where the school is
located.
Task Force Aledians helps in facilitating the distribution and
retrieval of modules to their respective purok. Using
bicycle ,modules were delivered earlier ahead of time and
retrieved in certain drop-off points in every purok land with the
help of barangay councils. With this, punctuality of distribution
and retrieval of modules were observed in which W.A.T.C.H
project advocates. This limits the face to face encounter between
the parents and the teachers.

D. Monthly Recognition
Recognition and certification were given for the people who are
advocating the W.A.T.C.H Program to further inculcate the
value of punctuality and honesty.
E. Installation of Lost and Found Box in every classroom and in
the office.

F. W.A.T.C.H Club Fund Raising Program “ Magtulungan para sa


Bayan”

G. W.A.T.C.H Club Online Monthly Meeting


For our club members to contribute their ideas and also
letting them know our expectations, needs and wants from
them.

IV. Criteria 4 Curriculum Integration


In education, a curriculum is broadly define as the totality of
student experiences that occur in the educational process.
Moreover, to make connections with students, integration of values
such as time-consciousness and honesty should be given
importance to allow them to engage in relevant, meaningful
activities that connected to real life.

The inculcate time consciousness and honesty the following


strategies were applied:
A. Giving awards and recognition to pupils who possess
timeliness and honesty.

B. Video-Call, Phone Call


Teachers conduct a scheduled video-call and phone call
session to conduct class sessions.

The school is still in the process of evaluating on how the


pupils respond to the modular-print learning delivery mode. We will
never stop to develop new strategies on how to meet the needs of
every learner especially those disadvantaged learner. We will make
to most of the crisis to help redesign better system where we can
address every learners needs and at the same time develop honest
learners out of this pandemic.
