Dicas sobre o Present Perfect Continuous x Simple Past

O “Present Perfect
Continuous” é formado pelo verbo have, conjugado no presente + o particípio
passado do verbo “to be” (=been) + o
gerúndio do verbo
principal (terminação _ing).
Utilizamos esse tempo verbal quando queremos falar de
eventos que tiveram início no passado
e continuam até o momento da fala.
Nesses casos, as palavras since
(desde) e for (há, por faz) são consideradas chaves.
Quando queremos falar de eventos que aconteceram no passado em um tempo determinado, ou seja, já
terminaram, utilizamos o “Simple
Past”. Nesses casos, as
preposições in, e on podem ser utilizadas para
indicar o dia, o mês ou o ano em que o evento ocorreu.
