Passive Voice II
• Verb such as:
• know, believe, say, think, consider, expect, report + that (active voice)
• People believe that he is very rich (active voice)
• It is believed that he is very rich
(passice voice)
• He is believed to be very rich
• Some verbs: give, offer, send (2 objects: direct(thing) / indirect (person) )
• They offered Tracy some flowers (active voice)
• Tracy was offered some flowers
(Passive voice)
• Some flowers were offered to Tracy
