plan.
Last year, Jake ran out of time.
All his cute pink and red flowers
did not bloom. They were late.
On the day of the contest, his
garden was green, just green,
no other color.
Poor Jake!Jake sees Jack in his garden with
a hose. He says, “Hi, Jack! How is

Jack is not happy. He wants to
know what the secret plan is.
This is not good. He will not win if
Jake has a secret plan. What is it?
What is that plan? What is that
secret plan?
He yells, “Aaahhh!”Jack goes for a walk. He turns
left. He goes down the lane.
He walks nine blocks, past the
rice shop, and past the market.
He finds a new street. He has
never walked on this street.
“Oh! My!” he yells. His face gets
red. What does he see? What will
he do?
