The college curriculum adjustment is done by offering the Clinical Legal Education (CLE) for
all regular Third Year Bachelor of Laws students during summer classes, which is a week after the
break of the second semester classes.
As a standalone course, CLE can carry a maximum of four (4) units that is equivalent to
seventy two (72) hours. It has a duration of nine (9) weeks classes/sessions.
As standalone course offering
To compute the grade for the Clinical Legal Education Program, a fifty-fifty (40-60) sharing scheme shall be adopted wherein the
supervising lawyer will give the sixty percent (60%) rating based on the criteria set for the CLEP and the head or personnel in-charge of the
office/court where the law student is assigned shall also give a forty percent (40%) rating based on the criteria set by the office. The percentage
rating by the supervising lawyer plus the percentage rating by the head or personnel in-charge of the office/court assignment shall be the general
average for the subject- Law 551-Clinical Legal Education Program.
As a prerequisite to Law 551-Clinical Legal Education Program, the law student must be a regular Third Year student who had taken and
passed all the subjects in the Third Year Bachelor of Laws course.
