What is your favorite classic story when you were a child? Why is it your
favorite? Has it been made into a movie? If yes, tell us about it.

When I was a child, my favorite classic story was "Charlie and the Chocolate
Factory." It is a children's book written by British author Roald Dahl in 1964. It's my
favorite because it is the sweetest and most delicious book I've ever read. Yes, the book
has been adapted into two major motion pictures: Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory
in 1971, and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory in 2005.
Wonka chocolate bars contain golden tickets, which Charlie Bucket and four
other youngsters discover. Tickets are for a tour of Willy Wonka's world-famous
chocolate factory. The four other youngsters suffer the consequences of their negative
attributes during the journey and are eliminated one by one from the tour, permanently
transformed. Charlie outlasts them all and inherits the chocolate factory as a reward for
his kindness and curiosity.
The moral of the story is that kindness always wins.
