Reaction Paper 3:
Protein

In this activity, we tested the presence of

protein in urine using the biuret reagent. The
picture shows that the color purple or violet is
positive which means the patient’s urine has
protein in their urine. The other side is still
color blue or light blue which means there’s no
presence of protein in the patient’s urine. The
biuret test is a chemical procedure that can be
used to determine whether a particular analyte
has peptide linkages. The biuret test can
therefore be used to determine the level of
protein in the analyte.
During the test rather than when it is essential
to detect deviation detection reagents and calibrators owing to be taken into
consideration, the biuret reagent in the detection of protein applications, impact
detection reagents and calibrators will test result. The total protein test counts
every protein in your blood and specifically checks for albumin and globulin levels.
This examination will also assess your blood's albumin-to-globulin ratio. To
prevent the presence of protein in urine take 8 glasses of water every day,
exercise regularly, eat healthy foods, avoid drinking alcoholic beverages and avoid
smoking.
