Insight About To Get Range

Today’s activity I’ve learned about

how to get the range in data set.
Find the biggest observed value of
a variable (the maximum) and
subtract the smallest observed
value to determine the range (the
minimum). The data points
between the distribution's two
extremes are not taken into account by the range it just these two values are.
Range is a very helpful measure of how dispersed the data is, but it has some
significant drawbacks. This is due to the fact that data occasionally contains
outliers that differ greatly from the other data points. In some circumstances, the
range might not accurately reflect the distribution of the data. To put it another
way, reference ranges are crucial. They offer the necessary background for
scientific investigation and medical diagnostics. Medical practitioners cannot
diagnose a patient or recommend a course of therapy without a reference range,
also known as a reference value or reference interval. When you have a
distribution without extreme values, the range typically provides you with a
decent indication of variability. The range can provide information about the
breadth of the distribution when combined with metrics of central tendency.
