My name is Ritah Moraa Omwoyo, it is with great enthusiasm that i apply for the nurse extern position
at Mama Lucy Kibaki Hospital. I'm a graduate with a bachelor of science in Nursing from Angeles
university foundation, and I believe my training has prepared me to support your team. I'm eager to
learn from your experienced nursing professionals as we provide excellent care and service to your
patients.

My rigorous coursework has provided me with the knowledge of patient care and procedural practices
that can help me excel in this role. Besides classroom-based learning, I've engaged in practical
experiences through practicum and immersive courses. Specifically, I worked with patients in hospital
settings under the guidance of licensed nurses and doctors. This experience helped me gain confidence
in my skills and helped me feel more comfortable working in such a fast-paced environment.

While working with patients, I was often responsible for taking their vitals, administering medications
prescribed by physician,tube feeding, ICU experience ,wound cleaning, assisting in delivery room,
assisting in operation room, performed as a triage nurse, performed therapies to psychiatric patients,
monitored I&O. I also developed a strong set of organizational skills, thanks to my duties of filing and
recording patients' medical information and histories and managing my time effectively as I moved from
patient to patient during my shifts. Additionally, my communication skills have proven beneficial, and
I've received compliments for my ability to build a rapport with patients and make them feel more
comfortable.

I have a strong passion for helping others, which is what inspired me to pursue this profession. After I
finish my degree, I aspire to work as a full-time nurse and use my knowledge and skills to assist patients
throughout their health and healing journeys. I hope to use my passion and skill set to help your nursing
team provide excellent patient care. I also believe this externship will provide me with numerous
development opportunities, helping me reach my professional goals as a nurse.
