What is Drugs?

A chemical substance used as a medicine or in making medicines, which affects the body and mind
and have the potential for abuse
Any substance which when taken by the individual will cure illness or relieves him of the sign and
symptoms of the disease

Is an instance when the use of chemical has produced negative or harmful consequences

The elimination of alcoholic substances from the body, treatment of the withdrawal symptoms and on
medical regimen for physical rehabilitation
TOLERANCE
Is the increasing dosage of drugs to maintain the same effects in the body.
Entheogen
Word which is often used to describe the religious and ritual use of psychedelic drugs in
anthropological studies, is associated with the idea that it could be relevant to religion
Pharmacology
Based on etymology, it was derived from the greek word “pharmakon which means “drug” and term
“logia which means “study of knowledge of”.
Psychological Dependence
An attachment to drug use that arise from a drug ability to satisfy some emotional or personality need
of an individual.

Any person who sell,administer,deliver or give away to another, distribute, transport any dangerous
drug

Manufacture
The production, preparation, compounding or processing a dangerous drug either directly or indirectly
or by extraction from substances od natural origin or by chemical synthesis.
Drug Experimenter
One who illegally, wrongfully, or improperly uses any narcotic substances for a reason of curiosity,
peer pressure, or other similar reasons.
Drug Syndicate
It is a network of illegal drug operations operated and manned carefully by groups of criminals who
knowingly traffic through nefarious trade for the personal or group profit.
