NOTICE

Subject Representations of Postal Assistant /Sorting Assistant candidates of Combined Higher

Secondary Level Examination 2019 for change in Circle allocation-reg.

Consequent upon declaration of results of Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination

(CHSLE)-2019, candidates recommended by Staff Selection Commission (SSC) for appointment to
the posts of Postal Assistant (PA)/ Sorting Assistant (SA) were allotted various Postal Circles vide
Notice No.W-04/7/2022-SPN-I dated 26.08.2022. Representations are being received for re-allocation
of Circle, on various grounds viz. non-submission of preference form, poor health, family related
issues etc.

2. Criteria for allocation of Circle, as approved by the Competent Authority, were published in public
domain while seeking preference of Circles from candidates. Circle allocation has been done as per
the said criteria.

3. Therefore, it has been decided by the Competent Authority that there shall be no reallocation of
Circles for any candidate on personal grounds.

4. For the information of the candidates, who have been nominated for appointment as PA/SA, it is
intimated that inter-Circle transfer guidelines of the Department of Posts are available on the website
of the Department (www.indiapost.gov.in) and the candidates may apply for inter-Circle transfer as per
the extant rules after joining the Department.

5. All the representations received so far are herewith disposed of and no further representation for
reallocation of Circle on personal grounds shall be entertained.
