CASE SUMMARY

Count Edmond Dantes was a feudal landlord and an owner of many lands surrounding his high
castle. He wondered who should be the one to do the farming of his land. Having 30 acres of
land, of which an acre is worth 5 bushels of wheat each. Then, he believed to give Fernand
and Abbe, to handle this responsibility. He then divided his goods among the two of them.
