Introduction

Oxford dictionary defines blended learning as a style of education in

which students learn via electronic and online media as well as
traditional face-to-face teaching. Defining hybrid or blended education is
a harder task than one might think opinions vary wildly on the matter.
Blended learning helps students to explore technology and use different
tools or techniques for learning, it also enables students to explore
information or guidance online, which can be accessed any time they
need and classroom learning helps to build better relationships between
the learner and the teacher. Some significant challenges to blended
learning models include the expense of technology, inadequate training,
technological issues, the need to adapt content for blended learning,
decreased motivation, and weekend relationships between students and
teachers.

Background of the Study

When the first case arrived in 2019 by the announcement of WHO (world
health organisation) everyone was not scared. In the 2020 cases were
getting higher and higher as other countries started on their lockdown.
Now online learning has started. Students and teachers are now online
because the children can not get outside. In 2021 children are now
allowed to get vaccinated and their parents have decided to get their
children vaccinated. Now in 2022 cases are getting lower and lower
thinking it is the time for the people to do full face to face. But the world
leaders still do not agree on full face to face yet but instead of that
blended learning was announced. Now mostly countries have started
their blended learning due their cases are also lower. Now the blended
learning arc is almost ending and the full face to face is almost about to
begin.

The purpose of this blended learning is so that students will begin

practising to go back to face to face at the same time the day while still
on using their technology. Since these students are now already getting
used to using the online class strategy. But it is now going back to half of
face to face not yet full face to face. Not only that it will lessen the use of
their gadgets as their half online class. Thanks to this mostly the
students are now happy to see their teachers, friends and their
classmates. And have more activities than online. And can improve on
face to face more than online improvement. This is the reason why world
leaders have decided that blended learning will start. Not only that, to
see the future generations in order to achieve our dreams that all of us
wanted.

Statement of the Problem

This study aims to determine and understand why preparedness in

blended learning affects the study habits of students

Is preparedness generally beneficial to students?

How does preparedness affect the studies of a student?

What are the benefits of preparedness in blended learning of students?

Why is preparedness important?

Objectives of the Study

There is a great deal of influence that preparedness has on students in

blended learning. In order to determine the significance of this research,
we will explore the following:

In order to determine the impact preparedness has on Grade 9 students'

educational outcomes.

To learn how Grade 9 students deal with temptation by using

preparedness.

It is essential that students are prepared for Grade 9 in order to succeed.

Significance of the Study

There will be a great deal of benefit from this study for the following
groups:

The students. This study will help grade nine students as well as the
incoming grade nine students to be able to understand if preparedness
in blended learning benefits them or not and how they need to utilise it
properly in order to keep it from being a hindrance to their study habits. It
will also give them guidance as to how they can improve and what to
avoid in the future.

Those who teach. Using this study, teachers will be able to incorporate
students' preparedness into their teaching methods.

Delimitations and Limitations

In these blended learning schools have limited their students to ensure
the safety of the children. Chairs have a smaller amount to insure the
distance of 1 feet. And to go outside is also limited. The only limit is to
just stay in the classroom not going outside till school is done.

materials and opportunities for interaction with physical classrooms.

Preparedness -Preparing or making ready something that is going to be
