1. No candidate will be allowed to appear in the Examination Hall without Admit Card and it should be produced before the Invigilator when
asked.
2. No candidate will be allowed to enter or leave the Examination Hall during the examination hours.
3. Any book, paper, cell phone, calculator or any electronic gadget or objectionable materials are not allowed in the Examination Hall. Candidates
are allowed to bring only Admit Card and ball-point pen inside/into in the Examination Hall. T here will not be any provision for deposit of
Mobile Phone/Electronic items etc. Candidate are directed not to bring any prohibited items with him.
4. Candidate will have to keep all his/her belongings and materials outside the Examination Hall at his/her own risk.
5. Any candidate found using unfair means or violating the above or any of the Examination rules shall be disqualified.
6. Candidate should clearly write his/her Roll No. in the space provided in the T est Booklet.
7. Read the question carefully before marking the right answer in the appropriate circle/bubble of the OMR Answer-Sheet.
8. Only one circle/bubble, either (A), (B), (C) or (D) is to be darkened completely for each answer on the OMR Answer-Sheet.
9. Candidate should not make any stray marks on the OMR Answer-Sheet.
10. Candidate should not staple, fold, pin, wrinkle or damage the OMR Answer-Sheet.
11. Scratching, overwriting, tick marking, multiple answering will be considered as wrong answer.
12. Candidates will have to sign twice the Attendance/Roll Sheet presented by the Invigilator on duty, once after taking their seats in the
Examination Hall, and once at the time of handing over their T est Booklet and OMR Answer-Sheet to the Invigilator.Cases where a candidate
has not signed the Attendance Sheet a second time will be deemed not to have handed over the Answer-Sheet.
13. T he candidate has to return the T est Booklet along with the OMR Answer-Sheet to the Invigilator before leaving the Examination Hall.
14. Candidate should do all the necessary Rough Work on the T est Booklet in the space provided. Rough Work should not be done on the
Answer-Sheet or on any other paper. If any Rough Work is done on the Answer-Sheet, the Answer-Sheet will not be assessed.

16. T he OMR Answer-Sheet will be provided along with the T est Booklet. Candidate should fill up the particulars in the OMR Answer-Sheet, i.e,
T est Booklet No., T est Booklet Code, Language Code, etc, carefully.
17. T he test is of 2 hours and 30 minutes duration and will consist of 150 questions.
18. T he candidate should use blue/black ball-point pen only for writing particulars on this page/marking responses in the OMR Answer-Sheet.
19. T he candidat e sho uld make sure t hat t he co rrespo nding Test Bo o klet Co de is pro perly writ t en/shaded in t he OMR Answer-Sheet
by him/her. Fo r example, if t he candidat e get s Test Bo o klet Co de 'L', t hen he/she sho uld fill up 'L' in t he box provided in t he OMR
Answer-Sheet and also shade t he circle 'L' in t he OMR Answer-Sheet . In case o f any discrepancy in t he Test Bo o klet , t he candidat e
sho uld immediat ely repo rt t he mat t er t o t he Invigilat o r f o r replacement .
20. T est Booklet has five Parts, i.e., Parts I, II, III, IV and V consisting of 150 Multiple-choice T ype questions, all carrying 1 mark each.

Assamese/Bengali/Bo do /English/Hindi medium/versio n f o r his/her co nvenience and ready ref erence. In case o f any discrepancy o r
co nf usio n in t he medium/versio n, t he English versio n will be t reat ed as t he aut hent ic versio n.
23. In case pro f essio nal qualificat io n (B.Ed / D.El.Ed) is no t f o und t o be aut hent ic, t hen any T ET cert ificat e issued shall be co nsidered
invalid and cancelled.
24. Before issue of T ET qualification certificate, further verification may be done, if required. For submission of invalid information, legal action
will be initiated.
25. Candidate has to report immediately if the OMR sheet received is found to be torn/damaged.
Guidelines regarding COVID-19 for Candidates :
1. Hand sanitization is must for all candidates before entry to the examination centre. Candidate need to sanitize hand by washing with soap &
water and then rubbing hand with sanitizer.
2. Candidates may carry their own hand sanitizer bottle (Small sized & transparent) in examination centre.
3. Candidates need to maintain social distance from each other in the examination centre as per the instruction of examination centre staff.
4. T emperature check for candidates will be done with a T hermo gun before entry in the examination centre.
5. A candidate must wear a face mask.
6. Candidate may carry transparent drinking water bottle of their own inside the examination centre.
