INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES

1.Candidates should check the Hall ticket and in case of any discrepancy, should immediately report to the SPO/Recruitment,
O/o The Chief Engineer/Personnel, TANGEDCO, Chennai for necessary action(hallticket@tnebnet.org).
2.Candidates are informed that they are PROVISIONALLY admitted to the competitive writen exam.

3.No candidate shall be allowed to enter the examination hall half-an-hour after the commencement

of the exam and shall not be permitted to leave the examination hall until the duration of the exam is complete.
4.Use of calculators, log tables, communication devices like cellular phone, pager or any other

electronic media are not allowed inside the hall.

5.OMR Answer sheet should be carefully filled up as per instructions given in the sheet.
No replacement of Answer Sheet will be given.

6.A candidate without a valid Hall ticket shall not be allowed to enter the examination hall.

7.The candidate has to return the Answer Sheet and Question Book after completion of the exam to the
Invigilator before leaving hall.

8.Candidates have to use blue or black ball point pen only for writing and shading. Answer sheet will be

invalidated if shaded in pencil.

9.The candidate should produce a valid identification proof.

10. Name/Application No A0216800 should not be written anywhere in the answer booklets.

11. The candidates are informed that if Qualification, Age, Community Certificate etc., are found to be
false and non remittance of Examination Fee noticed during original certificate verification, though qualified
D

in the written examination, their candidature will be summarily rejected and they will not be

considered for selection.

12. Candidates who are indulging in malpractices during entrance examination will be punished as per norms.

The nature of norms and corresponding punishments are as follows.

1.(i) Writing on the desk relevant to the examination ( ii) possession of any incriminating materials
inside the examination hall (whether used or not) (iii) possessions of answer sheet or question book

of another candidate (iv) exchange of question book or answer sheet and other materials with some

answer to another candidate (v) possession of mobile phone whether used or not , pager, calculator ,
and any other electronic media (vi) misbehaviour in the examination will lead to the cancellation

2. Cases of impersonation will lead to handing over the impersonator to the police and
