SCALE
Scales are just a row of notes following a set pattern. There are many types
of scales and modes, but we will just consider two of these – major and
minor scale. Both scales are composed of eight notes written either in an
ascending or descending manner.
Major Scale
Now try this scale in the key of C (ascending). Use finger no. 1 in playing lower do and fa
Then try this scale in descending order in the key of C. Use finger no. 3 in playing la and mi.
Minor Scale
Ascending A minor (relative minor of C major). Use finger no. 1 in playing lower la and re.
Descending A minor (relative minor of C major). Use finger no. 3 in playing fa and do.

Major Keys: G, A, Eb

keys in a slow tempo with accuracy on both hands.
c. Take note of the fingering markings!
