5 REST VALUES

REST

Rhythms are notated using notes and rests. Here are the basic notations for
each note, along with its equivalent rest (a rest is silence, when no sound is
played):

Direction: Give the value of the following indicated rest on the staff. (Upload the

Direction: Study the musical phrase given below and play it on the piano – with
appropriate note values.

Instruction:
a. Play the musical phrase in a slow tempo with accuracy, first by the right
hand, then the left hand, and by both hands.
b. Be precise in playing with the notes.
c. Then repeat the entire passage a little bit faster.
