COMPOUND SENTENCES

A compound sentence consists of two independent clauses which are combined by using:

a. A semi colon

b. Coordinator: and/but/or
It seems to be an easy problem but we cannot solve it.

c. Conjunction showing:
1. Contrast: however, nevertheless, yet.

2. Addition: besides, moreover, in addition.
