1. Background
a. The need to meet WHO Target in 2030 with regards to Global Strategy for
Human Resources for Health
b. The Need for Strengthening Accreditation System in South-East Asia
Region to Achieve WHO Target 2030
c. The need for a comparable quality platform in MHPE
c. The need for uplifting the quality of medical and health profession
education
d. The need for a comparable degree recognized by a regional accreditation
system in preparation for the ASEAN Economic Community, in particular
the professions that are included in the MRAs: medical doctor, dentist and
nurses.

2. Purpose
a. To disseminate WHO Targets in 2030 with regards to Global Strategy for
Human Resources for Health
b. To identify strategies for strengthening accreditation system in South-East
Asia Region to achieve WHO Target 2030
c. To discuss the international recognition of accreditation system
d. To disseminate WFME Global Standard for Undergraduate Medical
Education
e. To discuss cross-border accreditation system as a strategy to uplift the
quality of medical education in areas where access to accreditation services
are lacking
f. To discuss common quality platform in ASEAN and beyond.
