A. Background
To support the implementation of the Merdeka Belajar (Freedom to Learn) -
Kampus Merdeka (Independent Campus) or abbreviated as MBKM and the acceleration
of achieving the Key Performance Indicator of Higher Education (IKU PT), it is
expected that Higher Educational Institutions can perform the collaboration with the
relevant partners in developing the curriculum. The collaboration can be done with the
relevant educational partners by implementing the Memorandum of Understanding
(MOU) and Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with international universities (host
universities) occupying the top international rank. Therefore, it can help develop the
Higher Educational Institutions’ curriculum. The MOA program is the outcome of
MOU that can be applied in the form of International Seminars involving two or more
international higher educational institutions.
International seminars can be an important moment as there is a sharing of
knowledge of research findings for both institutions and lecturers. This program will
stimulate Higher Educational Institutions to perform the Downstream Policy of
Research. Besides, this can be an inspiration for lecturers to develop science and
research in performing Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi (The Three Pillars of
Higher Education).
The curriculum is a vital part of carrying out an activity, particularly education
and Outcome-based learning mentioned in the curriculum of the Three-Year Diploma
(D3) of Pharmacy Program and the blueprint of Pharmacy Technicians Competency
Assessment (Ujian Kompetensi Tenaga Teknis Kefarmasian/UKTTK). The student pass
rate in this UKTTK is extremely important as this becomes one of the requirements to
obtain a Certificate of Competence and the Registration Certificate for Pharmacy
Technicians (Surat Tanda Register Tenaga Teknis Kefarmasian/STRTTK). The student
pass rate in the region in the last two years did not reach 100% yet. One of the factors of
this phenomenon is that the learning process implementation in Higher Educational
Institutions is not optimal yet. Also, the multi-perception of the blueprint makes
treatment or solution more necessary to overcome the problem.
The APDFI (Indonesian Pharmacy Diploma Education Association) Organization
Region 3 facilitates the essential program to increase the acceleration of the IKU PT in
the MBKM implementation and the student pass rate of UKTTK by adjusting the
blueprint through the MOU activity, International Conference, Poster Competition, and
the UKTTK blueprint adjustment.
