TRAINING AND PLANNING WORKSHOP ON THE FORMULATION OF THE SCHOOL

IMPROVEMENT PLAN (SIP) FOR SY 2023-2028 USING DEPED*S STRATEGIC
FRAMEWORK AND PILLARS ALIGNED WITH THE MATATAG AGENDA

1. Pursuant to DepEd Order No. 44 s. 2015 titled Adoption of the Basic

Education Development Plan 2030,adhering to crafting school plans to improved key
result areas in basic education, this Office shall conduct above-mentioned activity
on August 7-9, 2023 at Tanza Oasis Hotel and Resort.

2. Schools are directed to mainstream and operationalized the Basic Education

Development Plan (BEDP) strategies and outputs, the MATATAG Agenda, and align
their plans, programs, projects, and activities to Division Education Development
Plan (DEDP) which should all lead towards achieving the common goals and
outcomes of the Department.

3. To ensure alignment with the DepEd's development objectives to the school

education plans, all schools are requested to access bit.ly/AllAboutSIP_MLA for
guidance and reference.

4. Participants in this activity are school heads, public schools district

supervisors, and selected education program supervisors. Board and lodging shall
be charged against Division MOOE and travel and other related expenses shall be
charged against School local fund, subject to the usual accounting and auditing
procedures.

5. The School Heads may be accompanied by their SIP Focal Person, however
board and lodging, amounting to P 6,000.00, and other related expenses also be
charged against School local fund, subject to the usual accounting and auditing
procedures. Payments for accommodation shall be paid directly to the venue.

6. Ail participants shall pre-register via this link bit.ly/SIP.MLAParticipants on

9. The School Planning Team is requested to attend the online pre-work

orientation on August 2, 2023, 9:00 a.m. via MS Teams
blt.ly/SlP_PreWorkOrientation.

10. Teachers shall earn a one-day service credit for accumulated eight hours of
services as a school planning team member in the school plans preparation, provided
that it shall not exceed a total of fifteen days' service credits pursuant to DepEd Order
No. 53, s. 2003 or the Updated Guidelines on the Grant of Vacation Service Credits
to Teachers.
