In-Service Training is a continuing activity for educators


Rationale to develop professional knowledge and skills throughout the
teaching-learning process which provides variety of
practices and activities that meet the teachers’ needs based
from the result of the Electronic-Self Assessment Tool. This
will guide on which RPMS indicators must be improved and
the areas that need coaching and mentoring.

Thus, to establish a responsive and effective performance


measure of targets and accomplishments aligned to the
DepEd’s vision and mission, Cluster 6 will conduct a Mid-
Year In-Service training of Teachers for SY 2023-2024 in
support to it. This is designed to acquire new information,
ideas and skills that will result to considerable evidence of
improved teaching-learning outcomes, instructional
competency level and learners’ performance.
Terminal Objective:
At the end of the sessions, the participants are expected to:

 Enhance knowledge on the RPMS Cycle/Mid-Year Review


on IPCRF and assess teachers’ portfolio;

 Upskill teachers’ knowledge on research and innovation,


HRD & ICT updates, child protection, teaching strategies
on Effective Early Grade Reading and Numeracy;

 Create instructional materials for the Least Learned


Competencies in all subject areas.

Session Objectives:

1. Approaches, Strategies and Activities in Teaching

 To design, create, select, and utilize appropriate type of


test items using a combination of Selected Response and
Constucted Response format.
