REITERATION OF DEPED ORDER 21, S. 2019 RE: POLICY GUIDELINES

ON KTO12 BASIC EDUCATION PROGRAM
AND OTHER RELEVANT LOCALIZED POLICIES

1. Relative to the Opening of Classes for SY 2023-2024 , which shall start on August 29, 2023, this
Office reiterates DepEd Order 21, s. 2019 titled “ Policy Guidelines on Kto12 Basic
Education Program “ as reference in the preparation of class programs from kindergarten to
Grade 12 and other special programs for SY 2023-2024.

2. All teachers , school heads and other DepEd Officials are hereby advised that the school class
programs ( individual and consolidated ) shall be submitted on or before August 18, 2023 at the
Office of the Curriculum and Implementation Division for the approval of the CID Chief ,
through the Records Section .

3. The field is further advised to observe the Enhanced Planning Parameters of teacher-pupil ratio
stipulated in DM OU HROD – 2023-0622 , teacher – pupil ratio

4. Proper loading of teachers shall be observed .Those teachers without ancillary services shall be
given a maximum of 360 minutes actual teaching load , while those with ancillary services
shall be given a maximum of 300 minutes actual teaching load . Thus , teacher’s program and
Form 7 shall be attached to the class program.

5. The signatories of the class programs are the following:
