Title: Dental Medical Mission

Sponsoring Department: Senior High School Department and the College of Dentistry

Target Date: February 2-10, 2022

Time: 7:30-10:00 am / 1:30- 4:00 pm

Venue: University Gymnasium

I. Introduction

Dental Medical Mission is a program with a motto to spread wisdom to the students of

the {school} and help people and students with problems on their dental health. Our

main aim is to help those students to gain experience that will be useful to achieve their

future careers. This Dental Medical Mission can help students improve their health and

also reach out to people who do not have any means to seek medical help.

II. Purpose

The {school} is committed to the advancement of the youth as a leader. It seeks to

graduate well rounded individuals who are physically, intellectually, socially, and

spiritually devoted to achieving the maximum possible quality of life.

The purpose of this program is to support the health department by providing a


practical framework to the college of dentistry and guidance on providing dental health

care. It aims to support the efforts of the staff and physicians at the University and

provide needed care, with a growing focus on the health of the Senior High School

students.

III. Project Description

This dental medical mission aims to reach a goal and objective to not only help those

people and students with dental problems but to also help future and upcoming dentistry

students with the guidance of real professionals to get experience in identifying certain

dental problems and handling patients. This mission will be sponsored by the Senior High

Department and Dentistry which will be held on February 10, 2021 from 7:30 am to 10

am (morning session) and 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm (afternoon session) at the University’s

Gymnasium.

IV. Goals and Objectives

1. To develop a strong sense of community among students, staff, and faculty with the

department.

2. To give knowledge to the patients on how to take care of their oral hygiene.

3. To develop programs and projects in dental care through community service.

4. To provide patients with a dental experience that will promote health literacy, healthier
lifestyles, and general well being.

V. Methodology and Timelines

February 2, 2022- Meeting with the sponsoring department.

February 3, 2022- Gather volunteers from the College of Dentistry.

- Gather professional volunteers.

February 4, 2022- Check the supplies and materials to be used.

February 5, 2022- Conduct a safety assessment on the said venue.

February 6, 2022- Distribution of registration slip to all Senior High School students.

February 7-8, 2022- Gathering of data from the registration slip submitted by the

students.

February 9, 2022- General meeting with the sponsoring department and volunteers for

finalization.

February 10, 2022- Day of the program.


Morning Session:
7:30- 7:45 am- Students will be called to gather at the University
Gymnasium. 7:45- 8:00 am- Student briefing.
8:00- 10:00 am- Program duration.

Afternoon Session:
1:30-1:45 pm- Students will be called to gather at the University
Gymnasium. 1:45-2:00 pm- Student briefing.
2:00-4:00 pm- Program duration.
VI. Benefits / Anticipated Outcomes

The benefits of this dental medical mission is to provide aid to improving the health and

lives of underprivileged people in the city who have limited or no access to the most

basic medical health and necessities of life especially for the students in the campus.

Practicing good dental health is important to maintaining a healthy mouth, teeth and

gums. It will also help your appearance and quality of life that's another benefit of this

mission

This medical we all ensure that we want you to have a daily check up for your dental

things like teeth problems or other dental issues. This is all very beneficial for your health

because some students might have black teeths or unhealthy teeths those are some serious

issues, so this medical mission will be again very beneficial for your health.
