Deductive Method:

Deductive method is a process which start with the proposition of hypothesis and ends at the
acceptance and rejection of it.

Limitations of Deductive Method:

Following are the limitations of Deductive Method:

 The Major premise must be true, if not, then the whole hypothesis becomes wrong.
 Assumptions or hypothesis generally turn out to be untrue or partially true.
 One must organize, what is already known.

Example:

Following is the example of deductive method:

Electricity helps us to charge our smartphones.

Major Hypothesis:

iPhone gets charged by electricity.

Minor Hypothesis:

iPhone is a smartphone.

Conclusion:

iPhone gets charged by electricity.
