 IMPROVEMENT ON UNIVERSITY FACILITIES

INTRODUCTION

Over the past few years, colleges and universities have been making
significant investments on new campus facilities and other amenities in order to
market themselves and draw in prospective students. Now, in light of the
pandemic, higher education institutions face a new challenge: providing high value
amenities and facilities on college campuses despite budget constraints caused by
lower enrollment numbers.
It's important to consider updating the college campuses to help attract
college students and keep existing students satisfied.

TARGET POPULATION AND SAMPLE SIZE

In our study, we would like to have the opinions of the college students from
the Mechanical Engineering Student Society(MESS). We will question 5
individuals from each section, varying from first year students to fourth year
students. Students were the ones who uses the building and its facilities during
their enrollment every semester. We want to help the students relieve some stress
by having a comfortable environment for them to use. By knowing the problems
and what the students prefer inside the building, accommodating these issues can
be done.
QUESTIONNAIRE

Dear Respondent,

We, Contreras, Danlag, De Luna and De Villa, a second-year college student

and currently a Mechanical Engineering Student at Batangas State
University-Alangilan Campus. We are conducting a survey about “Improvement of
Facilities”. We want to know what the students think and feel when they enter the
classroom, whether the library provides good services for students, neatness of
comfort rooms, or canteens sell affordable foods and drinks. We want to know if
they are satisfied about that or needs to be improved. This is to complete our
activity on our engineering data analysis course.

To make this survey successful, we kindly ask that you participate by filling
out this form. The survey is completely voluntary, and you are free to stop taking it
at any point. Those who are willing to participate will be much valued in the
process. You can be sure that any written personal information you provide will be
treated in the strictest confidence and discarded as soon as the survey is finished.
