EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 0043- 2022

AN ORDER REORGANIZING THE LOCAL PUBLIC TRANSPORT ROUTE PLAN

(LPTRP) TEAM OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF POLOMOLOK, SOUTH COTABATO

WHEREAS, Joint Memorandum Circular No. 011, series of 2017 of the Department of Interior
and Local Government and the Department of Transportation provided guidelines on the
preparation and issuance of local ordinances, orders, rules and regulations concerning the Local
Public Transport Route Plan (LPTRP);

WHEREAS, Section 4 of the said JMC directed the LGUs to designate focal persons who will be
responsible for the preparation of the LPTRP;

WHEREAS, Executive Order No. 16, series of 2018 organized the Polomolok Public Route Plan
Committee which was tasked to craft the LPTRP of this Municipality, which shall precede and
from which shall be anchored all local policies and ordinances pertaining to all modes of public
transportation including motorized tricycles for which is under the jurisdiction of the municipal
government to regulate as provided under the Local Government Code of 1991, otherwise known
as the RA 7160;

WHEREAS, there is a need to reorganize the LPTRP to include members essential in the
attainment of its objectives and goal and to replace members no longer in the agency or
organizations they are representing;

NOW THEREFORE, I, BERNIE D. PALENCIA, by the powers vested in me by law as the duly
elected Municipal Mayor of the Municipality of Polomolok, South Cotabato, do hereby
reorganize the LPTRP Team of the Municipality as follows:

Section 1. Composition.
The LPTRP Team is therefore reorganized and shall be composed of the following:

Section 2. Functions.

The LPTRP Team shall perform the following functions:

1. Prepare/Formulate the Local Public Transport Route Plan of the LGU based and
consistent with the LPTRP Manual and complying with the requirements indicated
therein;
2. Secure the official inputs and/or comments of all stakeholders in the preparation of the
LPTRP. Stakeholders shall include but not limited to commuter groups, transport groups,
and the academe; and
3. Attend Capacity Building trainings/programs and activities conducted by the DOTr.

Section 3. Functions of the Secretariat.

The Secretariat shall prepare the necessary documents in the formulation of the LPTRP and in
the finalization of the plan.

Section 4. Effectivity.

This Executive Order shall take effect immediately and shall be valid until revoked or amended.
