Sci-Tech-Talk Competition

“A Creative Talk on Science & Technology, and Innovation by the Youth”

Guidelines and Criteria:

Entry:
1. Open to All students enrolled in San Roque National High School
2. Any individual or group with maximum of 3 members must come up with an
individual/group name
Requirements:
1. All participants must register starting October18-22, 2021 thru
(https://forms.gle/rvBLUvtR6qUAZ9w97)
2. By filling out the registration form, the entrants agree to abide by the rules and guidelines of
the competition and by the decision of the panel of judges.
3. Entries must depict or interpret the National science and technology theme for 2021.
4. Entries must be an original 1-3 minute video presentation (Example: experiments,
documentary, vlogs, stories on science breakthrough, games, etc.) with resolution of at least
480dpi, either .mp4 or .mpeg format. Could be English or any dialect with English
caption/subtitle.
5. Must use non-copyrighted music.
6. Participants may use applications like Tiktok to enhance their video

The following details should be included in the email- cover
1. Participants’ Name and Section
2. Video attachment
3. Date Submitted
Time Table:
Acceptance of Entries: October25-27, 2021
Review & Judging: October 28, 2021
Announcement of Winners: October 29, 2021

Judging:
1. All entries will be pre-screened by the school program committee to ensure compliance to the
mechanics and relevance to the theme
(Example: experiments, documentary, vlogs, stories on science breakthrough, games, etc.)
2. All qualified entries will be presented during the Program Culminating activity on October 29,
2021, thru google meet.
3. Decision of the board of judges is final and unappealable.
4. Winners will be announced on October 29, 2021 and will also be notified through private
message.
Criteria for Judging
1. Content: 50%
2. Originality: 15 %
3. Creativity: 15 %
4. Visual Appearance: 20%
