Person A won a legal battle against person B and is now free from the liability imputed against

cannot be reclaimed anymore.

Person A pays person B’s tuition without the knowledge of person B. Nevertheless, person B

Without the consent of her parents, person A, a minor, worked as a waitress for a local

back her earnings. Person A cannot, therefore, retrieve what she has already given back to the
owner.

A child, without the knowledge of his guardian, bought an expensive shoe from his local
shoemaker. The guardian or the child, therefore, cannot demand a refund given that the
shoemaker has already spent his commission in good faith.

Deceased Person A left a will that states the division of his properties to his five children.
However, his will was not enacted due to errors in the payment process. One of the five children
paid for the settlements. Thus, their payments are valid and cannot be recovered.
