HERE’S WHAT YOU GET...
 Use of classroom for party and refreshments.

 Live animal presentation and age-appropriate discussion coordinated around the


animals the birthday child chooses on his/her special day.
*Just like people...some animals may have the day off!*

 A guided nature walk, weather permitting. Please dress appropriately!

 A nature themed craft to make and take home. Please select the craft from APEC’S collec-
tion of projects at least 2 weeks prior to party.

About Refreshments...
 APEC DOES NOT PROVIDE REFRESHMENTS. A shared refrigerator/freezer is availa-
ble. (Freezer dimensions: 22w x 13d x 4h). Freezer space for ice cream cakes cannot be
guaranteed, we recommend bringing your own cooler for storage.

 Many parents serve pizza or bagels. Food is typically served 1/2 hour before the party
ends. Call if you need a list of pizzerias that regularly deliver here.

Insect Repellant is recommended during summer months. APEC does not provide or sell repellant.

APEC bears no responsibility for any lost or stolen items.


HERE’S WHAT YOU SHOULD DO…
During the party…
 Arrive 15—20 minutes before your party, meet your instructor, set out paper goods, hang
decorations, etc.
 All parents are asked to assist with “crowd control” and discipline,
as necessary.
 For the safety of the children and animals, please model and encourage good behavior.
 Parents of guests are asked to quietly observe the party. Talking parents can distract
from the learning and enjoyment of the party.
 You are responsible for serving food and refreshments. APEC staff is available to assist at
this time.
Tipping is appropriate if you would like to thank your Birthday Instructor.
Please note only cash can be accepted as a tip.

After the party…


 Please remove ALL of your food, refreshments, paper goods and decorations.
 The balance is due by the end of the party. Fee is based on the number of
actively participating children. Please see below.
IMPORTANT: Due to time restrictions, we request that the party room be vacated
no later than 20 minutes after the party ends to allow set-up time for upcoming
events. Late fee applied after 30 minutes.

HERE’S INFO ABOUT SCHEDULING…


Ages: 2 and up
Fees: $250.00 for up to 15 children, BIRTHDAY CHILD IS FREE!
$12.00 for each additional child...maximum of 30 children
$30.00 additional instructor (additional instructor is available for all
parties but required for 20 or more children)
Days: Saturday and Sunday (some after school and holidays available)
Times: 10 am-12 noon or 1-3 pm (4-6 pm depending upon availability)
Deposit: $75.00 non-refundable deposit is due when party is scheduled.
Payment: Balance of fee is due on the day of the party. We prefer cash or
check made payable to APEC, but also accept major credit cards.
